This past weekend we recieved news that my husbands grandfather had passed, so we made plans to head to Erie PA for the funeral service and to be with family. I did not have to request off, I did not have to call anyone to let them know-I packed and we left. My dear husband had to call his boss, talk to him about-let him know he was going, request the use of his vacation time for this and work the day we left.
Turns out my husband's boss 'forgot' that Jeff had requested the use of vacation time so his check for this week was missing one day and he was able to catch wed. and change that to vacation pay. Inconvenience resulted in a tighter budget and frustration which was unnecessary at this time.
I love that my sales are able to be dropped immediately with little to no adverse effects any time my family requires me.
